Kimjongilia is, indeed, the most famous flower which looks fascinating and beautiful.

The flower represents the personality of leader Kim Jong Il as a great man. The sea of flowers praising the great man is a manifestation of the ardent longing and reverence of all people for him.

Kim Jong Il is always alive in our mind.

We, overseas compatriots, will make positive contribution to the patriotic cause for national prosperity, keeping pace with the people in the homeland.

Choe Ryong Ho, vice-president of Yanbian University of Science and Technology of China, said in an excited tone:

We are taking part in the festival to keep the greatness of Kim Jong Il deep in our mind.

We don't think Kimjongilia is a flower coming out in nature. It reflects deep reverence of all the people in the homeland and overseas Koreans for the great man.

The Kimjongilia Festival has become more distinctive and wonderful year by year.

My heart is full of emotions when I see flowers displayed by the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon).
