Present there on invitation were Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Jin, vice-premier, Han Chol, vice-minister of Culture, officials concerned and working people and students in Pyongyang.

Among the audience were the delegation of Koreans in Japan and delegation of the General Association of Koreans in China for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, overseas Koreans and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Through female trio "Our Father", "Our Comrade Kim Jong Il" and other numbers the performers sang high praises of Kim Jong Il, who showed warm loving care for officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) and other Koreans in Japan.

The audience were deeply moved by male solo "I Will Never Sell My Mind" and trio dance "One" which reflect the firm resolve of Koreans in Japan to devotedly protect Chongryon, a precious legacy left by President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and desire of Koreans for reunification.

Mixed chorus "Ongheya", female solo and dance "Moran Hill" and a series of other delightful folk songs, dances and instrumental music added to the atmosphere of the performance.

The performance showed well the iron will of Koreans in Japan to hold in high esteem Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as eternal sun and keep to the road of patriotism under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
