Voters' Meeting Pledges Loyalty to Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place by the voters of Paektusan Constituency No. 111 for the election of deputies to the 13th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK at the April 25 House of Culture on Thursday to vow to repay with loyalty the big trust of Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA), who sent an open letter to all voters throughout the country. Present there were Ri Yong Gil, Jang Jong Nam, officials of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces and service personnel of the KPA. At the meeting Ri Yong Gil, chief of the KPA General Staff, read out the open letter sent by Kim Jong Un. The participants broke into cheers as it was said in the open letter that Kim Jong Un decided to register as a candidate for deputy at Paektusan Constituency No. 111. Resolution speeches were made. Jang Jong Nam, minister of the People's Armed Forces, and other speakers said that it is the highest privilege and greatest honor for all the service personnel that Kim Jong Un registered as a candidate for deputy to the SPA at Paektusan Constituency No. 111. They stressed that the People's Army should uphold with loyalty the cause of Mt. Paektu and the Party's revolutionary cause of Songun in the van and firmly guarantee a final victory of building a thriving socialist nation with matchless military strength. They expressed their resolutions to cherish deep in their hearts the deep trust and expectation of Kim Jong Un and go to the polls and cast a ballot to glorify the state power of the Republic and demonstrate the invincibility of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army and the might of the single-minded unity of the revolutionary ranks to the whole world. At the end of the meeting all the participants held a dancing party with deep emotion and joy of celebration at the plaza of the April 25 House of Culture. |
