On display in the exhibition hall were the photos of Kim Jong Il showing his sacred revolutionary career and undying feats and photos documenting revolutionary activities of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Displayed there were the works of the peerlessly great men, books and photos showing the true picture of the prospering DPRK and art pieces associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.

Present at its opening ceremony were figures and citizens in Shanghai and members of the delegation of the Korean Overseas Exhibition General Bureau.

Speeches were made by Chinese figures.

The speakers noted that the exhibition would provide more Chinese people with an opportunity to know better about the efforts of the Korean people to step up the building of a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and their happy life and culture, tradition and customs of Korea.

They expressed the expectation that the exhibition would offer an occasion of boosting the cultural exchange between the two peoples.

The exhibition will remain open till Feb. 28.
