The participants charged that after the truth behind the case of illegal interference by the Intelligence Service (IS) of south Korea in the election was disclosed, IS is busying itself suppressing the party in a bid to get rid of the crisis.

It made heavy penalties demanded for progressive politicians with the fabricated and distorted evidence in collusion with the prosecution, terming the party a political party plotting rebellion, they said.

They strongly protested against the crackdown upon the opposition party, holding slogan boards "Abolish the Security Law" and "Plotted Rebellion was Fabricated".
