In view of this requirement, the 4th Conference of Ideological Officials of the WPK took place here in March Juche 70 (1981).

Leader Kim Jong Il made public the famous work "On Further Improving Party Ideological Work" at the conference.

He in the work indicated the tasks to further improve the party ideological work in keeping with the reality, in which a solid foundation has been laid for the party information and agitation.

The work underscores the need to intensify the ideological education of the party members and other working people to train them to be revolutionaries of Juche-type.

The work also sets forth tasks to conduct the agitprop work in diverse forms and methods and augment the role of party committees at all levels in guiding the party ideological work.

After the conference, the party ideological work could be directed at encouraging all the service personnel and people to perform miracles and feats in socialist construction with boundless loyalty to the leader.

A great leap forward took place in implementing the decision made at the congress while the whole society was imbued with the revolutionary spirit.

Under the wise leadership of the WPK, many monumental edifices were built in the country, thus laying a solid foundation for the eternal prosperity of the nation.
