Kim Jong Il successfully carried out the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism and turned the DPRK into an invincible power capable of defeating any formidable enemy, holding aloft the banner of Songun in the whole period of leading the Korean revolution.

He successfully applied the political idea of Songun to the revolutionary practices and thus opened up a new era of the socialist politics and led the socialist cause of Juche and the revolutionary cause of Songun to victory. Therefore, the DPRK could win victory after victory in the confrontation with the imperialists.
