IS's Fabrication of Plotted Rebellion Case Denounced in S. Korea

Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Measure Committee to Denounce the Intelligence Service's Fabrication of Plotted Rebellion and Suppression under the Pretext of Security held a press conference in Seoul Tuesday denouncing the plotted rebellion case cooked up by the Intelligence Service (IS).

Speakers termed the decision of the court against Ri Sok Gi, a lawmaker from the Unified Progressive Party, a politically-motivated one made at a beck and call of power.

The prosecution brought a suit against him to the court as intended by the IS and the court meekly accepted it and sentenced him to heavy penalties, they said, adding the case was faked up by the IS to tide over its crisis caused by its interference in the election.

The decision reveals the politically-motivated purpose of the regime to disband the progressive party, they noted.
