Displayed on the front walls of the meeting places were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Also on display there were photos documenting the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Exhibited there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books and photos showing successes made by the Korean people in the building of a thriving nation.

Anders Kristensen, co-chairman of the Danish preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, said Kim Jong Il was a great revolutionary and elder statesman who devoted his whole life to achieving the prosperity of socialist Korea, reunifying the country independently and peacefully and accomplishing the cause of global independence. He praised Kim Jong Il's ideological and theoretical feats and Songun leadership feats.

Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, said in a speech that Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, was a distinguished statesman who made a great contribution to the Korean revolution and the struggle of the world people for independence.

All successes made by the Korean people are the fruition of his wise leadership.

Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, said:

Kim Jong Il was a great leader, hero of the nation and peerless patriot of the Korean people and progressive mankind.

Socialism of Korea and its future are being firmly guaranteed by Kim Jong Un.

Congratulatory messages and letters to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
