Displayed on the front walls of the venues of the seminars were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

On display there were works of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books and photos introducing achievements made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK in building a thriving nation.

Present there were personages of the Communist Party in Sweden, Communist Party of Sweden, Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, Italian Preparatory Committee for Celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, Communist Youth Front of Italy, Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Rome Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Songun Idea of Italy, Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, Mexican National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo, Society for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of DR Congo and the Working Citizen's Association of DR Congo and masses.

Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said:

Kim Jong Il was a distinguished thinker and theoretician who developed and enriched the Juche idea into the great guiding idea in the era of independence.

At a time when the Korean people faced ordeals unprecedented in history due to the moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK and severe natural disasters, he defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and laid a solid foundation for the building of a thriving nation with his Songun politics, strikingly demonstrating the validity and vitality of socialism.

The national coordinator of the Communist Youth Front of Italy noted that Kim Jong Il dedicated himself to achieving the prosperity of the country and bringing about happiness of its people all his life, adding:

He turned the DPRK into a politico-ideological and military power.

We will stage more active solidarity movement for supporting the Korean people vigorously advancing along the road of socialism while smashing the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK.

The chairman and secretary general of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo and other speakers said that Kim Jong Il's Songun leadership feats serve as a precious heritage for accomplishing the human cause of independence, adding he will always live in the hearts of progressive mankind.
