Participants in the film show watched a Korean film documenting immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il.

The vice-chairman of the Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Khabarovsk Territory said:

Kim Jong Il devoted his all to the country and its people all his life and made a great contribution to developing the friendly relations between Russia and the DPRK.

He visited the Siberian and the Far Eastern regions of the Russian Federation in August, 2011, the last period of his life, in particular, and had a Russia-DPRK summit.

We are pleased that the Korean people are achieving the successes in the work for strengthening the national power and improving the people's living standard, rallied firm around supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

We wish the DPRK greater victory this year.

The chairperson of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany and other personages extended warm congratulations to the Korean people on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, adding: We wish the DPRK successes startling the world in the film art under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. Films will provide Germans with an opportunity to know better about the bright and happy life of the Korean people.
