Displayed at the venue of the book exhibition were works of Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un and books introducing Songun Korea.

Chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea Alhassan Mamman Muhammad, secretary general of the Nigerian preparatory committee for celebrating the 72nd birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, said:

Kim Jong Il successfully glorified the Juche idea and Songun idea as an eternal guiding idea of the DPRK and the great revolutionary idea of the era of independence.

Thanks to his energetic leadership the Workers' Party of Korea developed into a militant party with the oneness of ideology and leadership and strong sense of organization and discipline, and has demonstrated its dignity as a mother party which takes care of the destiny of the people with responsibility.

The DPRK turned into a powerful nuclear weapons state that remains unfazed by the nuclear threat of the imperialists, and the Korean People's Army is demonstrating its might as the powerful army strong in ideology and faith and the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army.

Exploits Kim Jong Il performed with lifelong dedication will shine forever as the noblest legacy which guarantees the accomplishment of the socialist cause and the realization of the human cause of independence.

Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Romanian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, said in his speech:

Kim Jong Il defended the Korean revolution and the global cause of socialism by conducting brilliant ideological and theoretical activities and pursuing original Songun leadership at a time when the imperialists have become all the more undisguised in their arbitrary practices to stifle socialism.

He devoted all his life to the accomplishment of the socialist cause in the DPRK and the national reunification.

Congratulatory messages to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Nigeria and Nepal.
