The chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia praised Kim Jong Il as the great leader who devoted his all to the people's happiness all his life and an outstanding statesman and Songun commander who turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power.

He stressed that the exploits Kim Jong Il performed in developing the friendly and cooperative relations between Russia and the DPRK would always be remembered by the Russian people.

The chairman of the Laos-Korea Friendship Association emphasized that Kim Jong Il who turned the DPRK into a powerful country with his Songun politics is always alive in the minds of not only the Korean people but also the progressive people.

The deputy general secretary of the South African Communist Party extended the invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for smashing the U.S. imperialists' moves for aggression, ensuring peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the region, defending socialism and reunifying the country.
