The completion of the cofferdam makes it possible to make a footing excavation for the dam within winter and finish the concrete tamping for damming before rainy season.

With a plan to complete the construction of the station in the main by the end of this year, constructors successfully built the cofferdam by operating all vehicles at full-capacity.

They carried away 45,000 cubic meters of earth in a little more than 10 days.

They are now pressing ahead with preparations for the second-line cofferdam project as well as the footing excavation.
