Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- The General Association of Koreans in China on Feb. 24 issued a statement titled "The U.S. should stop at once its Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military drills for aggression." The statement accused the U.S. of kicking off Key Resolve and Foal Eagle across south Korea despite the unanimous opposition of all Koreans. The General Association of Koreans in China and all Koreans in China term the large-scale joint military drills targeting the north the dangerous nuclear war provocations aimed to stifle the DPRK by force of arms and inflict nuclear holocausts upon Koreans, the statement said, adding: The U.S. is, indeed, the very one threatening the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in Northeast Asia as it kicked off the dangerous saber-rattling in south Korea where nuclear weapons and facilities are stockpiled. Trust and hostile acts cannot go together. The U.S. and south Korean authorities should think twice about the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by their anti-DPRK war moves and stop acting rashly and discontinue the reckless war drills at once. The south Korean authorities should not dance to the tune of the U.S. saber-rattling, bearing deep in mind that it is a traitorous anti-reunification criminal act of hurting peace on the Korean peninsula and development of the inter-Korean relations to follow the U.S. criminal acts of aggression against the DPRK. The General Association of Koreans in China and all Koreans in China urge the U.S. and south Korean authorities to immediately stop their reckless war drills against the DPRK. |
