The statement said that Koreans in China received with deep emotion the appeal of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea (DFRK) on February 20.

The nomination of supreme leader Kim Jong Un as a candidate for the deputy to the 13th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK is a manifestation of the unanimous loyalty of the people in the motherland and a great auspicious event guaranteeing the happiness and future of overseas compatriots, the statement said.

It expressed the conviction that the people of the motherland will demonstrate once again the invincible might of socialist Korea centered on the popular masses before the world in the election of the deputies to the SPA.

All Koreans in China will dynamically advance for the prosperity of the socialist motherland and accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Songun, rallied close around Kim Jong Un, the sun of the nation, it said, and went on:

The country's reunification, the greatest desire of the nation, is sure to be achieved as the DPRK holds in high esteem Kim Jong Un who is identical to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the van of the struggle for reunifying the country.

If all compatriots turn out as one under the banner of the three principles of national reunification -- independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity -- and the June 15 joint declaration, a fresh phase of independent reunification, peace and prosperity will be opened certainly.
