Present there were figures of Japanese organizations for the study of the Juche idea, masses and an official of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers referred to the significance of the inaugural ceremony and called for deeply studying and disseminating Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism to turn the present century into one in which the dignity of human beings is protected.

They underlined the need to establish independence in Japan through the study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and increase the number of adherents of the Juche idea.

The ceremony elected Takao Kamakura, director of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, Masaji Ie, adviser to the National Liaison Council of the Societies for Study of Kim Jong Il's Works, Keizo Sumiya, chairperson of the Japanese Fukushima Liaison Council for the Study of Kimilsungism－Kimjongilism, and other figures advisers to the national liaison council.

Then, an inaugural declaration was adopted there.

The declaration said that the energetic activities of Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, enabled them to know well that he will successfully carry forward and accomplish the idea and cause of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

It stressed that the ceremony marked an occasion of vowing to more briskly study and disseminate Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in order to accomplish the cause of independence in Japan and the rest of the world.
