The Indonesian newspaper International Media on February 17 allotted one whole page to an article titled "Immortal exploits performed for the cause of global independence." It was illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

The paper said that no great man in history performed such immortal exploits for the cause of global independence, possessed of the matchlessly great idea and leadership art, as Kim Jong Il did.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on Feb. 18 carried special write-up titled "The man who believed in people as in God." It was illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il and photos documenting revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The paper gave a detailed account of the fact that Kim Jong Il, deeming it as his motto to believe in people as in Heaven, made ceaseless journeys for field guidance for their happiness all his life.

The Malian paper Le Malien on Feb. 17 said that Kim Jong Il created a large flower garden of human love on the land of the DPRK by pursuing benevolent politics, adding that he was the man who had ardent love for the people as his inborn disposition.
