The February 19-25 issue of Pravda Primoriya carried an article titled "Peerless patriot" illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il standing together with supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The paper said in the article:

Kim Jong Il, who was born in Mt. Paektu, holy mountain of the revolution, and grew up, nurturing patriotic soul, led the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK with his extraordinary wisdom and distinguished leadership art, performing immortal exploits to shine for all ages.

He also made great contributions to the efforts to accomplish the cause of national reunification and ensuring peace and security in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world by steering the trend of the situation on the Korean peninsula and global politics.

Nizhegorodskaya Pravda on February 13 carried articles with various titles such as "Main force of the revolution" and "Way of prosperity" illustrated with photos of Kim Jong Il.

The paper in an article titled "Source of victory" noted that all valuable treasures provided by the Songun politics are reliable assets for the prosperity of Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea, adding that the Songun leadership exploits performed by Kim Jong Il are a source of the DPRK's victory.

Internet magazines such as Hanber Journal carried special articles titled "Eternal sun of Songun" and "Yearning in February" illustrated with a photo of smiling Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un between February 14 and 16.
