At the contest men and women players of the April 25 Sports Team placed first in premier basketball games and premier volleyball matches.

Men players of the Sports Team of the Ministry of Fisheries and women players of the Taesongsan Sports Team came first in ice hockey events.

Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, sportspersons and citizens in Pyongyang.

Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Ri Jong Mu addressed the closing ceremony.
