The conference discussed the matters of brining a radical turn in the party ideological work as required by the era of Songun (military-first) by inheriting the tradition of victories won in the struggle for socialist construction and defence of the country under the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism.

After the conference, the trait of giving priority to ideology has been thoroughly established in the whole party and all the party organizations and officials have turned out in the ideological work to cement the politico-ideological position, the lifeline of the Korean revolution, as firm as rock.

The monolithic ideology and guidance of the leader was fully established within the WPK and it strengthened into a revolutionary party with a strong sense of organization and discipline and a motherly party that struck its roots deep among the popular masses, taking care of their destinies in a responsible manner.

All the members of society grew up to be true revolutionaries in the era of Songun and the single-minded unity of the leader, party, army and people was further consolidated. And the army-people unity in idea and working traits was ensured and the revolutionary ranks became elite and powerful.

A publicity and agitation offensive was launched to carry into practice the WPK's plan for building an economic power, thus effecting a great revolutionary upswing in the whole country.
