Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Lawyer Kim Chil Jun, head of the joint defence counsel of the attempted rebellion case of south Korea, said that the charge of the rebellion brought against those related to the Unified Progressive Party case was groundless, according to the south Korean internet paper "Genuine World". He, addressing a meeting held at a hall in Jongdong of Seoul on Thursday to hear a report on the trial of the attempted rebellion, branded the judgment made at the trial of the case as the ruling tailored to the prearranged decision, based on groundless antipathy. He went on: The prosecution and court termed a lecture on the situation given by Ri Sok Gi, lawmaker from the Unified Progressive Party, on May 12 last year "a meeting of the revolutionary organization for attempted rebellion". If one listens to the recorded lecture titled "What shall we do for peace-keeping mechanism on the Korean peninsula," one can know that it is far from an attempted rebellion or agitation for it. Kim Chil Jun expressed the will to make all efforts to probe the truth behind the case to the last. |
