Remains of Civilians Killed during War Unearthed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Remains of civilians who were killed during the last June 25 war were unearthed in Jinju, South Kyongsang Province of south Korea, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People. It was reported that thousands of people related to the Association of the Protected and prisoners of Jinju Prison were mercilessly killed in five places of Jinju by the counter-intelligence corps of the U.S. forces and south Korean MPs early during the last war. A joint investigation team for discovering remains of civilians killed during the war started unearthing of remains from February 24. The joint team included the Institute for National Studies and other organizations. A lot of U.S.-made discharged cartridges and bullets were unearthed on the spot. The truth about the killing of innocent civilians by the U.S. imperialists and Syngman Rhee group of traitors can neither be concealed nor written off, no matter how much water may have flow under the bridge. |
