It conveyed news that meetings of voters took place at all constituencies across the country to nominate him as a candidate for deputy to the 13th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

It informed the readers that the Association and organizations affiliated to it studied the New Year address made by him and held meetings to vow to carry out the tasks laid down in it.

It carried articles titled "We significantly celebrate the 72nd birth anniversary of the great General", "Exploits performed by Kim Jong Il all his life represent his total dedication to people", "General and CNC (15) " and so on.

Seen in the magazine are the crucial proposal made by the National Defence Commission of the DPRK to the south Korean authorities calling for paving a wide avenue for improving the north-south relations by concerted efforts of the Korean nation and statements issued by organizations of Koreans in China in support of it.
