The U.S. frantic moves to enhance the killing power of war hardware are aimed to contain the other side and bring it to its knees by the incomparable military and technical edge in wars of aggression against other countries, says Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary.

The U.S. is paying lip service to "peace" and "disarmament" but it is nothing but a clumsy trick to cover up its true colors as the very one wrecking global peace and security and chief culprit of arms race.

The U.S. imperialists' reckless moves to develop war hardware are an act against peace as they will fan up the worldwide arms race and military confrontation and make the international situation tense.

It is clear that many countries would not remain a passive onlooker to the U.S. ambitious moves to develop weapons of mass destruction.

If the U.S. continues arms buildup, the world will be drawn into a whirlpool of arms race and the international situation further complicated.

With no coaxing can the U.S. hide its true colors as the very one fanning up arms race and making the international situation tense and chief culprit hurting world peace and security.
