U.S. Slammed for Seeking to Invade DPRK

Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The U.S. moves for aggression against the DPRK are laying a big stumbling block in the struggle of the Korean nation to achieve the national reconciliation, unity, peace and reunification of the country, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in an article. It goes on: Intolerable is that the U.S. is interfering in the issue of Korea's reunification as it pleases in disregard of the independent right of the Korean nation. No one gives the U.S. the right to interfere in the internal affairs of the Korean nation. Moreover, the Korean nation was divided into the north and the south owing to the U.S. moves of aggression against Korea. Since then, Korea has not been reunified. The U.S. has interfered in the issue of Korea's reunification while disregarding the Korean nation's independent will and demand, far from making an apology for the worst inhuman criminal acts of dividing Korea and taking hands off the Korean peninsula. This is an arbitrary practice for domination. The history of the U.S. occupation of south Korea is the one of crimes in which it has poked its nose into the internal issue of the Korean nation and stood in the way of the reconciliation, unity and reunification of the north and the south. The U.S. is now becoming all the more undisguised in its aggressive moves to hurt the hard-won atmosphere of improved inter-Korean relations. The U.S. would be well advised to stop at once its anachronistic intervention in Korea's reunification, clearly seeing the will and spirit of the Korean nation to shatter the moves of foreign forces for domination and intervention and solve the issue of the country's reunification by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation. |
