Miserable Juvenile Labor Situation in S. Korea

Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- The Juvenile Labor and Human Rights Network of south Korea held a meeting in Seoul on Thursday as regards a report on the survey of the miserable labor situation of teenagers, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The organization quoted juveniles as saying that teenagers are not properly paid at worksites for they are young.

It deplored that juveniles are subject to such threats as scolding when working at different sites and that they have no vacation and break at all and not properly receive their monthly wages.

The worksites where juveniles are undergoing pain are the bottom of misery and they are dregs of society, it noted.
