Displayed on the front wall of the exhibition hall were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Also hung there were flags of the DPRK and China.

On display were photos documenting exploits of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un, works of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un, photos and books introducing Songun Korea and fine art works associated with distinguished talents of the Korean people.

Present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition were Chinese personages, a delegation of the Korean Overseas Exhibition General Bureau and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Beijing.

At the ceremony speakers noted that the exhibits vividly showed the wisdom, talents and happy life of the Korean people and the time-honored history and fine culture of Korea.

Saying that the exhibition will offer Chinese people an opportunity to know better about Korea, they hoped that such cultural exchanges would take place more often to greatly contribute to boosting the friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries.
