The message said his election as deputy to the 13th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK signified a great national jubilee which witnessed the realization of the noble intention of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and an stirring event in which the ardent desire of not only the people in the homeland but all the officials of Chongryon and other Koreans in Japan was realized.

The Central Standing Committee of Chongryon extends the greatest glory and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un, reflecting the boundless loyalty and reverence of all Koreans in Japan for him, it noted.

It is none other than Kim Jong Un who became the strong pillar of faith and encouraged all the people in the homeland, Chongryon officials and other compatriots in Japan during the days when they bitterly grieved over the unexpected demise of Kim Jong Il, and successfully led the state-building cause pioneered by the peerlessly great persons of Mt.
