Ko Kye Hyon fell unconscious after getting third-degree burns on 40 percent of his body.

As soon as he was admitted to the hospital on January 6, medical workers of the hospital started treatment after taking reasonable urgent measures at consultative meetings.

Doctors and nurses succeeded in helping the patient recover his senses four days later. Then a series of skin grafting were conducted. They made every sincere effort to cure him, sitting up by his bedside all night.

Not only medical workers and employees of the hospital but also teachers and students of Hamhung University of Medicine donated their blood and flesh for skin-grafting operations.

Thanks to their sincere devotion, Ko was completely cured to return to his worksite.

Experiencing himself this stirring reality in which people of different social standings showed such sincerity for the life of an ordinary worker, Ko and his family members expressed profound thanks to the benevolent socialist society where revolutionary comradeship is in full bloom.

Ko left the hospital amid the warm farewell of all well-wishers on March 11.
