The statement referred to the fact that units of the KPA Strategic Force successfully conducted rocket-launching drills according to the regular training plans of fire power units.

However, the U.S. and its followers are making much fuss about the DPRK's justifiable drills, terming them "provocation and threat", the statement said.

It went on:

Isn't a provocation for them to label the DPRK a "country of evils" while staging Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises against it? All members of the Socialist Party of Benin hold that Key Resolve and Foal Eagle are not "annual drills for defence" to cope with any "provocation" but undisguised acts to drive the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the worst phase and pose a serious military threat to the DPRK and, at the same time, vitiate the climate for improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving independent reunification and start a war. We strongly demand an immediate halt to those war rehearsals.

The Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK will surely achieve the final victory in their drive to build a thriving socialist country and defend the sovereignty of the country under the outstanding leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
