Ali Houdou, president of the party, said at the inaugural ceremony of the preparatory committee of the Socialist Party of Benin for celebrating the 102nd birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung on March 10:

Kim Il Sung met heads of state and prominent figures of many countries till the last moments of his life after Korea's liberation.

Foreigners of all social standings ardently praise him because he was possessed of not only the great idea and leadership ability but also noble traits touching the hearts of all people.

His benevolent image will be cherished forever in the hearts of progressive mankind.

The vice-president of the party said:

After founding the DPRK in 1948, Kim Il Sung wisely led the country and people for decades.

Under his leadership the DPRK beat back the aggression of the U.S., boasted of being the "strongest" in the world, in the Korean War which broke out when it was less than two years since its foundation, and honorably defended the sovereignty and the dignity of the country.

The DPRK carried out the rehabilitation and construction and the socialist revolution on the debris of the war and successfully pushed ahead with the socialist construction of several stages.

We pay high respects to Kim Il Sung, the founder of the DPRK demonstrating its dignity as an invincible power.
