March 15 is the day when democracy was violated in this land due to the election rigging by the Syngman Rhee regime, the statement said. Such election rigging repeats itself in south Korea even though more than half a century has passed since then, it deplored.

Accusing the present "regime" of turning down the demands of the people for probing the truth behind the election rigging and punishing its prime movers, it condemned the Intelligence Service (IS) for having faked up even a spy case in the wake of fabrication of attempted rebellion case of the Unified Progressive Party, not content with its election rigging.

It urged the chief executive to dismiss Nam Jae Jun, director of the IS, at once as he trampled down democracy through politically-motivated operations and fabrications.

It called on young people to turn out in actions by inheriting the spirit of the April 19 Popular Uprising against injustice of the dictatorial regime.
