It is a deliberate provocation to adjust the situation on the Korean peninsula to serve its strategic purpose.

The U.S. calculates that military supremacy is the key to carrying out its strategy for dominating the Asia-Pacific region and, to this end, the situation on the Korean peninsula should never be allowed to be stable.

That is why it openly staged nuclear bomb-dropping drill targeting the DPRK by letting B-52 fly in the sky above Jik islet in the West Sea of Korea on the day when a contact for the reunion of separated families and their relatives from the north and the south was underway. No exception is Foal Eagle joint military drill kicked up by the U.S. in the wake of Key Resolve joint military exercise.

The situation on the Korean peninsula is freezing again due to the wicked intention of the U.S. to deliberately aggravating the situation and push ahead with its strategy for dominating the Asia-Pacific region by such a way of irritating the DPRK and making it take self-defensive countermeasures.

This is the basic reason why an abnormal situation, neither war nor peace, persists on the Korean peninsula with the vicious cycles of tensions and detente arising in succession.

The U.S. act of throwing a wet blanket over the efforts and enthusiasm of the whole Korean nation to take the road of national reconciliation, unity and reunification in keeping with the desire of mankind for peace is a villain act of sprinkling ashes on a wedding table of others.
