The statement said that the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military maneuvers staged by the U.S. and south Korea every year pose the greatest threats to peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in Northeast Asia.

The U.S., which has its roots in all kinds of crimes, racism and slave system, should stop at once encroaching upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and interfering in its internal affairs and pay attention to the human rights abuses in the U.S., it said, and went on:

The strength of the service personnel and people of the DPRK united close around their leader is more powerful than any weapon in the world.

The moves to bring down the people's power of the DPRK are doomed to a bitter failure.

The DPRK is a full-fledged nuclear weapons state whether others recognize it or not.

The U.S. has access to a large number of modern weapons but the U.S. imperialist aggression forces will be nothing but a group of dastardly criminals in the confrontation with the heroic service personnel of the Korean People's Army, the strongest army in the world, once a war breaks out.
