Present at the meeting were Oberto Santin Caserez, president of the committee, Alicia Corredera, vice-president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, and other officials concerned.

Present there on invitation were the DPRK charge d'affaires ad interim and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Havana.

The meeting reviewed the work of the committee last year and discussed the plan for work this year.

The speakers at the meeting underlined the need to widely introduce the New Year Address of supreme leader Kim Jong Un and conduct brisk solidarity activities to support the just cause of the Korean people.
