The Workers' Party of Korea is now expecting the three-revolution teams to greatly contribute to carrying out the industrial revolution in the new century, the editorial says, and goes on:

When the three-revolution team members full of youthful ambition and vigor, responsive to what is new and enterprising, conduct a dynamic drive for pushing back the frontiers of latest science and technology at all worksites for building an economic giant, a great turn will take place in carrying on the industrial revolution in the new century.

Very important are the responsibility and role of the three-revolution team members in making the socialist self-supporting national economy of the DPRK radically change its appearance to suit the era of knowledge-based economy by thoroughly applying the great party's idea of pushing back the frontiers of latest science and technology.

The three-revolution team members should become masters of technological innovations and rationalization proposals and forerunners of the drive to push back the frontiers of latest science and technology through a vigorous campaign of technology and brains. This is a sure guarantee for putting machines, equipment and production processes on a modern basis and effecting a great surge in production in all sectors of the national economy.

In his historic work "Let Us Bring About Fresh Turn in Work of Three-Revolution Teams as Required by New Situation" published last year marking the 40th anniversary of the start of the three-revolution team movement, supreme leader Kim Jong Un said that the three-revolution team members should become scouts and standard-bearers of the industrial revolution in the new century in stepping up the building of an economic giant by dint of science and technology.

The editorial calls upon the three-revolution team members to push ahead with the industrial revolution in the new century in the van of the on-going general advance, bearing in mind the ideas and theories set forth in his work.
