U.S. Nuclear Threats to DPRK Censured by Koreans in Germany

Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- An article accusing the U.S. of its nuclear threats to the DPRK was posted by the Society for Cooperation among Koreans in Germany on its website on March 15. The article referred to the fact that the U.S. let a formation of B-52s fly into the sky above Jik islet in the West Sea of Korea for a drill for nuclear strike at the north at a time when an agreement on the reunion of separated families and their relatives from the north and the south was reaching at Panmunjom early in February. It went on: Such provocative act lays bare the real intention of the U.S. displeased with improved north-south relations. It also goes to clearly prove who is the chief culprit bringing a nuclear war crisis to the Korean peninsula and blocking the settlement of the nuclear issue. The command of the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific region made an excuse to quell the public sentiments but it only revealed the deceptive and provocative true colors of the U.S. engrossed in the reckless nuclear blackmail and threats to the north while crying out for the "nuclear issue of the north". It is none other than the U.S. which has fostered the danger of a nuclear war to spawn the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula and desperately blocked its settlement. The U.S. should make an apology for the nuclear issue before the Korean nation and the international community and stop their nuclear blackmail and threats as it has no qualification and face to find fault with the north. If the U.S. sincerely wants peace and settlement of the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula, it should stop its reckless nuclear rackets against the DPRK including the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises. |
