Present there from the DPRK side were Kim Chang Ho, vice-president of the Academy of Agricultural Science, and officials concerned and from the opposite side were the party of the president, Alexandr Timonin, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials.

The talks discussed the issues of developing the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Talks involving different sectors on cooperation in various fields including oil industry, construction and agriculture took place between both sides at the People's Palace of Culture on the same day.
