Imperialist Ideology and Culture Are Leading Part in Aggression: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Whereas the reactionary ideology and culture of the imperialists were their guide to aggression in the past, they are playing a leading part in aggression at present, says Rodong Sinmun Saturday in an article. It goes on:

By infiltrating their reactionary ideology and culture, the imperialists are gaining their purpose for aggression they find it hard to do through military provocation.

The anti-imperialist and independent regimes toppled down in some countries and the pro-U.S. regimes established instead as the people of those countries danced to the tune of the U.S. false propaganda, taken in its nonsensical drumbeats.

In an attempt to make those countries corrupt and degenerated and pull down them, the imperialists have conducted all open operations to infiltrate the bourgeois ideology and life style into them. Those countries, however, did not take any measure to cope with it. As a result, rotten ideology and culture of the imperialists swept across society.

If the imperialist ideological and cultural poison is overlooked, it makes it possible for the counter-revolutionary forces to raise their heads.

The counter-revolutionary forces leave all gains of revolution achieved through the protracted struggle to the tender mercy of the imperialists in collusion with them.

The "color revolution" in various countries is a product of the criminal anti-government campaign launched by the reactionary forces while expanding their influence rapidly, infected by the ideology and culture of the imperialists and backed by them.

This goes to prove that the ideology and culture of the imperialists are playing a leading part in their aggression at present.

If the ideological and cultural poison of the imperialists is allowed, it is impossible to defend socialism and achieve the independent development of the country and nation.
