The article said the news of the fabrication of spy cases reported in south Korea every day makes people feel as if they were living in the era of "yusin" dictatorship.

The fact that poor plots are hatched against the people and wanton human rights abuses are repeating themselves is sparking off resentment and despair.

Just as the spy case against a Seoul City government official turned out to be totally fabricated recently, once again stunning the world, the Intelligence Service (IS) kicks up rackets against "pro-north," "north followers" and "Reds" any time and any place, when necessary.

Recently the "Saenuri Party" brought groundless charges called an attempted rebellion against lawmaker Ri Sok Gi from the Unified Progressive Party and other personages, making them victims of its operations to prolong its power.

The ruling party tries to nip in the bud progressive forces by use of the IS to cover up its seizure of power through "government" bodies' interference in the election and scandals.

The IS is squandering money for the fabrication of spy cases.

Many people commit suicides due to abject destitution. The IS, however, is spending an astronomical figure of money collected from the people as taxes for cooking up such charges of "spies", "followers of the north," "Reds" and "attempted rebellion" against innocent people.

Had those who killed themselves because of hard living seen this dirty and disgusting plight, they would have urged the IS to rename itself "Agency Specializing in Fabricating Spy Cases."

The south Korean authorities should divert the slush money used by the IS for maintaining the power seized through a fraudulent election to the purpose of improving the people's living and achieving their welfare, punish all those involved in the fabrication of the spy case and make apology to the people a hundred times, though belatedly.
