Day of Sun to Be Celebrated by Koreans in Uzbekistan

| Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed by the "Old Men" Association for Korean Cultural Tradition in Uzbekistan on March 18. Ju Yong Il, chairman of the association, was elected the chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse events including a ceremony of presenting a floral basket, festival of the Korean national art and remembrance meeting to praise the revolutionary exploits of Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
