A lecture and a book and photo exhibition took place in Rome City and a seminar in Sao Paulo City on March 7 and 8.

On display at the venue of the exhibition were works of Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un and photos and books dealing with the proud successes achieved by the Korean people in building a thriving nation.

Speakers including the national coordinator of the Communist Youth Front of Italy said that the Koreans and other progressive people of the world have significantly celebrated the Day of the Sun, birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, every year, noting with high appreciation that the founding of the Juche idea is the greatest feat performed by Kim Il Sung.

They praised him for defeating two imperialisms in one generation and laying a firm foundation for the DPRK to emerge victorious, unfazed by any moves of the imperialists to stifle it.

The chairman and secretary general of the Brazilian Center for the Study of the Juche Idea explained the essence, originality and vitality of the Juche idea in combination with the reality of the DPRK.

They referred to the fact that Kim Jong Un formulated the revolutionary ideas of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, underscoring the need to intensify the work for studying and disseminating Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the future.
