The manager of the Dombo Enterprise Company was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee set a celebration period till April 18 and decided to organize diverse political and cultural events in the period.

The chairman said:

I regard the formation of the Malaysian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun as great pride.

It is the bounden duty and sense of obligation not only of the Korean people but of progressive humankind to significantly celebrate the birth anniversaries of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.
