Present there were Han Tong Song, director of the Publicity and Cultural Department of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Kim Hwa Hyo, chairman of the Korean Social Scientists Association in Japan, and members of the association and officials of Chongryon organizations and enterprises.

The great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are teachers of the Korean social scientists in Japan, Kim Hwa Hyo said, adding: The association is conducting its activities in conformity with its mission thanks to the loving care of supreme leader Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the leadership of the Generalissimos.

Han Tong Song referred to the fact that a 70-day campaign is being conducted across Japan to successfully hold the 23rd Congress of Chongryon. He called upon the association, the main center of scientific researches, to conduct a dynamic patriotic campaign through researches and cooperation with social scientists.

A lecture titled "On the road of pioneering Juche-based researches" took place in the meeting.
