Agricultural workers in South Hwanghae Province are making haste with their work to finish sowing in the best time.

Farms in Sinchon, Anak, Jaeryong, Unryul, Unchon and Samchon counties properly chose the fields for rice seedling beds to suit weather conditions and features of soil. They are pushing ahead with the sowing of rice seeds as scheduled, applying a sufficient quantity of compost and fertilizers.

Agricultural workers in Chongdan, Yonan, Paechon and other counties are carrying out their daily quotas without fail.

Successes are reported from farms in North Hwanghae Province.

Agricultural workers of Migok Cooperative Farm in Sariwon City have carried out their quotas at more than 70 percent.

Signal achievements were also reported from agricultural workers in South and North Phyongan provinces. They are properly sowing rice seeds per area of cold beds, sufficiently applying manure to each cold bed despite consecutive days of unfavorable weather.

Farms in Kaesong City are doing their best to prevent the damage done to rice seedlings by cold weather.
