Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Bangladesh

| Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- A Bangladeshi preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed at the joint proposition of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Communist Party, Bangladesh People's League and the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee on March 19. MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events including meeting, film show and photo exhibition praising the exploits of the President on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
