Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea held an urgent press conference in Seoul on Tuesday protesting against the import of the U.S.-made weapons for preemptive attack, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Minbo. In the press conference speakers recalled that the "government" authorities decided to purchase U.S.-made drones and F-35A fighters. They said that the weapons would serve as the core in establishing the system to carry out the "tailored deterrence strategy" containing the plan for the preemptive attack on the DPRK. If they are imported, it is highly probable that a war breaks out on the Korean peninsula, they said. They demanded the authorities immediately cancel the decision to purchase U.S.-made weapons which will make the south Korean army involved in implementing the U.S. blockade strategy in Northeast Asia and waste a huge amount of money collected from the people as tax. |
