Jon Mun Ho, chairman of the Association for the Protection of Underground Resources of the DPRK Natural Conservation Union, said in a speech that that presentation would offer a good occasion in applying the research successes and experience gained in the work of protecting the underground resources in the country and generalizing them.

Appreciated there were the research papers that dealt with the issues arising in developing and introducing advanced technologies of prospecting underground resources and estimating the possible use of them and indicated ways for settling them.

Drawing the attention of the participants were scientific and technological issues arising in developing and protecting underground resources and new resources such as raising mining and dressing rate of underground resources and turning nontraditional resources into resources.
