Indonesian Paper Raps U.S. Moves to Stifle DPRK

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- The Indonesian paper Suara Karya on March 21 carried a commentary titled "The DPRK demands the U.S. stop its hostile policy towards it". The commentary said: The trace of the Second World War is no longer to be seen with the passage of time and there is a balance in the positions of the countries but the tragedy of territorial partition and national division persists on the Korean peninsula only due to the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK. The ever-more undisguised political, economic and military pressure and sanctions of the U.S. and its followers are laying a stumbling block in the way of the peaceful development in the DPRK. The government and people of the DPRK like other countries and peoples have the legitimate right to defend their sovereignty. The U.S., however, has always put a brake on the actions of the DPRK. The National Defence Commission of the DPRK in its statement clarified its principled stand on the U.S. hostile policy towards it. The U.S. moves to stifle the DPRK are harmful ones. The U.S. is kicking up a groundless "human rights" campaign against the DPRK. These moves only touch off the resentment of the Korean people at the U.S. The world progressives positively support the just struggle of the Korean people. |
